Registration is open for the Plant the Moon/Plant Mars Challenge, and if you live in Illinois, you may be eligible for Space Grant Consortium support to help cover registration costs! Apply today to give your future scientists, astronauts, and farmers the opportunity to explore plant growth in space by designing their own experiments with lunar or Martian soil simulant. We plan to cover at least 10 teams.
Selected teams will receive support to cover 100% of their registration costs (just cover shipping)! Space Grant applications are due by December 4, 2024. The cost for any additional experiment supplies (seeds, pots, soil or additives) will be the team’s responsibility.
