The world’s most powerful telescope releases its first five full-color images and spectroscopic data today during a televised broadcast streamed from the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The event showcases these targets: Carina Nebula, Stephan’s Quintet, Southern Ring Nebula, WASP 96-b, and SMACS 0723.
